I'm glad you've found your way to AP! We built this place in the autumn of 1999 to be a kind of "safe haven" for Community Elders...New Seekers and all those in between...to grow and share their personal lives...experience and Spiritual Journeys with the Community. For a few years we had an entertaining and vibrant community of friends and acquaintances that kept the place sparkling and alive. It was a wonderful and exciting time...full of love...laughter...friendship and growth. Ancient Pathways became our home in cyberspace and began to grow as we shared our Paths and experience. Since then AP and its members have gone through many changes...kind of like a home and family does. People grow and move on...and the home remains a place where we can return to check in...rest...renew and remember where we came from. And usually...there's 1 or perhaps a few people who still reside there...making sure the place is clean and comfortable...and still as warm and welcoming as you remember.
Today ~*~Ancient Pathways~*~ has become a HUGE resource of good, sound information on Paganism...Spirituality...Witchcraft and other related topics...and it continues to grow by the day.
We thought that it might be a good idea to post a note listing the few rules here and perhaps give you a bit of an idea of where things are so that you can get the most out of this wonderful place.

First...the "Rules"

I've made an independent decision...I've decided to immediately ignore...report and ban anyone who posts spam here. For some reason this really...REALLY irks me! It's fine if someone wants to post a link to their site...there's a forum called Members Picks just for that sort of thing. Or...if someone reads something here and wants to post a link to their site...or another site for more info that's great! Members and people who honestly want to share something are always welcome to post links anywhere on the board. But I get pissed when someone posts crap or just wants to dirty a place up with their self serving ad-posts...
OK...done with the rant...
***stomps off grumbling...I HATE having to be a bitch...***
1. There are NO posts deleted here. Even the worst of the worst will stand...even though the topic might end up being closed and possibly moved to "The Graveyard". In the past we have had to edit offensive graphics and such in an attempt to protect our youngsters from being subject to that kind of thing.
2. There is NO flaming
or bashing aloud. Everyone at AP
has their own opinion and their own Path. And each will be honored here. AP was created to celebrate each individual Path and to give each member of the
Community a place to share...ask questions...rant...whatever!
3. We DO NOT allow attempts to convert or to push anyone's religious views on the members of this Community. If you are here with the idea of doing this you WILL discover that AP has it's own breed of Bulldog...and it's quite possible that you will be bitten

In Getting Acquainted! Welcomes...Introductions & Bios you'll find a forum with info on using the board...there's a forum where you can read intros and leave one of your own as well. There is another forum to leave a bio and read the bios of other members...a Q&A forum...a forum to share photos...and another to share your birth date and perhaps find a surprise on your special day
There's even a place to leave a message for another member or create a
spot for others to leave a message for you.
The Coffee Hut is kind of a general chatter forum...a place to stop in and say hi...or grab a cup of coffee *or whatever relaxes you*...sit...have a good read and perhaps leave a reply...or just meditate on what you find there.
Members Picks is a place to leave a link to your own spot on the web or a link to a favorite site.
This first category is just a place for us to get to know each other and hang out kind of thing.........
I think the next 2 categories are pretty much self explanatory.
In Living...the Old Ways you will find info on Spiritual and Magickal living and practice...chants...spells and other "enchantments"...meditation...tools and their symbolism and the Wheel of the Year...dreams...psychic ability...tarot etc...parenting...recipes...gardening...astromomy...astrology...earth science and earth changes...astral travel...aliens and star people and SO much more!
In Traditions you will find info on different Paths and Traditions...as of now we have The Good Red Road...The Druidic Path...The Way of the Goddess...Celtic Pathways and Other Traditions. However we are ALWAYS happy to add others! So if you would like to see another topic here just let us know!
In Health, Wellness and Healing you will find Herbal Info...Home Remedies and Healing in General.
Rants, Ramblings & Other Stuff is where you'll find...umm... the Rants...yes...and Ramblings of our members *and please feel free to add your own!*...then there are The Funny Pages and The Graveyard if you want to poke around some of the old dead topics as well!
I've *we've* spent quite a few years collecting...writing and sharing information on many...many subjects of interest to the "Pagan and Earth-based Community"...if you can't find what you're looking for here...there are links to additional information included at the bottom of many of the posts...or if you'd like...please feel free to reply to any post and/or ask questions
