Light all candles except the white Altar candle.
Light the incense.
Consecrate the salt:
One:
"Blessings upon this creature of the sea forced from the Womb of the Great Mother by the force of the Sacred Sun"
A bit of Salt is added to the oil in consecration
Consecrate the Water:
One:
"Out of thee Water creature goes all that is not pure. May only the essence of the Great Mother remain"
A bit of Water is added to the oil in consecration.
Pour wine into the Cup:
All:
"The Cup is as Woman and Goddess-containing the Wine of Life it becomes a symbol of our birth right! Under the bright full moon, and the darkness of the new we weave the Sacred Magicks. We praise and exalt the Mother, and honor Ourselves. We are Her children, Her sisters. She lives within us, and we are part of Her. Called back to Her breast we are awakened, reborn. Goddess and Woman, we are One."
A bit of wine is added to the oil in Consecration.
The Cup is passed to each woman in her turn. She drinks in honor of the Goddess within. The oil is passed to each woman who Blesses the one beside her with the symbol of the Horned Moon at the third eye:
"The protection of the Goddess be on Her child"
Each woman who wishes may raise the Atheme and take the Oath of the Priestess:
"In the presence of the Goddess, and in the company of my Beloved and Trusted Sisters, I give my solemn and sacred oath that I will abide by my chosen Path and will seek to do the will of the Goddess without question. I shall keep silent all things entrusted to me by the Goddess and all who seek silence of me. I shall do my best to heal, in body mind and soul, those who come to seek healing. I shall be caregiver to Earth and all Her creatures, and be ever mindful of those beings that give of their life-force and energy for my sustenance. As the Goddess resides within every human being, so will I acknowledge and respect Her light within each person I encounter. And always, in the presence of my Brothers and Sisters on the Path of the Old Ones, I will be forthright and open, in the true nature of a Priestess."
Starting in the North, call the Elements asking for blessings on a personal power object:
All:
"Spirit of the North, the Element Earth, place of Winter and Introspection! We ask your presence and blessings in our Rite!
Spirit of the East, the Element Air, place of Spring and New Beginnings! We ask your presence and blessings in our Rite!
Spirit of the South, the Element Fire, place of Summer and Creative Passion! We ask your presence and blessings in our Rite!
Spirit of the West, the Element Water, place of Autumn, Magick and Divination! We ask your presence and blessings in our Rite!
Drum to raise and release energy.
All:
"Be it sealed. We are Daughters of the Moon, Children of the First-born, and Priestess of our Birthright! May we never forsake the Seed of Awakening and ever serve the Goddess as has been done since the dawn of time!
So it is spoken! So mote it be!"
One: "Now hear the words of the Great Mother, who was of old called Isis, Cerridwyn, Hecate, Artemis, Athena, Diana and by many other names:
When ever ye have need of anything, once in the cycle, and better it be when the Moon is full, then shall ye assemble in some quiet place, and adore My Spirit, Queen of all Priestesses! There shall ye assemble, ye who are fain to receive all Sorcery but have not yet learned it's Deeper Secrets. To these I will teach things that are yet unknown. Ye shall be free from oppression. And as a sign of that freedom, ye shall sing, dance, make music and love, all in My praise. For Mine is the Spirit of Ecstasy, and Mine is Joy on Earth. For My Law is Love unto all things. Keep pure thine highest ideals, let naught prevent ye or turn ye aside, for Mine is the Secret Door of Youth and the Cup of the Wine of Life and the Cauldron of Immortality.
I am the Gracious Goddess Who gives the Gift of Joy unto the Heart of all. Upon death I give Peace, Freedom, and True Knowledge of all which has gone before. Nor do I demand sacrifice, for behold! I am the Mother of All Living and My Love is poured forth upon the Earth! From me all things proceed and unto me all things must return.
Therefore let there be compassion, honor, and humility, mirth and reverence within thee, and let thine innermost Divine Self be unfolded in the Rapture of the Infinite. And ye who thinkest to seek for Me, know that thy search will avail thee not, lest thou knowest the Mystery. I have been with thee from the beginning, and I am that which is attained at the end of all Desire!
All:
"So it is Spoken! So shall it be!"
Thank the Elements.
Disperse the Circle if you so desire.
The Rite is ended.
